The Homful Group is a global supplier of boating, camping, home patio, and RV products. There is a huge amount of B2C cross-over in this sector, and the competition for short-tailed keywords is exceptionally high. The initial objective of the web was to focus on the B2B area of Google, and over time we have taken advantage of the B2B / B2C overlap to start positioning in the B2C area of Google.
The SEO challenge with such a huge product inventory is how to maintain an "SEO Equilibrium" between the four main product lines. From the start, EC Center divided this project into 4 sub-projects so that each product line could have its own custom SEO strategy.
This project concentrated on four languages: English, Spanish, German and Korean. The SEO strategy for all Korean versions of EC Center webs is based on Naver as Korea is one of the few countries in the world that does NOT use Google as their main Search Engine.
The key to success in this project has been the continuous addition of new products and new content by Homful Group. This maintains the interest of the Google bots and continually opens new SEO Opportunities for the EC Center to focus on. Advanced reporting identifies the seasonal trends and the potential hot sales in each product line. Recently through advanced SEO, we have been developing with Homful a B2C strategy to take advantage of the positioning of this project in that area.
