This sector is among the most competitive in the market, as telecommunications products are a fundamental part of the digital world. Smartphones, GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi, and smartwatches are continuously developing. The SEO challenge is to consider the evolution of the keywords as the sector evolves and the related "app" webs, which can significantly affect SEO.

B2B Strategy

While there is some cross-over between the B2B and B2C areas in this sector, there is a very clear B2B niche based on SEO keywords.  "802.11ax" and "wifi6" may be considered to be B2B keywords, while "5G" and "GPS" are more popular in B2C. For B2B projects, this focus on B2B keywords is the main SEO strategy combined with Regional and Multi-Language SEO to position in global regions.

Like in the Solar sector, there may be regional limitations or constraints for telecommunications projects, so it is vital to view the "global" SEO opportunity and position accordingly. 

B2C Strategy

 

This is a very competitive space, and our SEO strategy is to look for niche keywords like "GPS watches for kids" or "GPS watches for the elderly" rather than try to compete for "GPS watches". Many B2C products in this sector require additional webs to download "apps" or updated "firmware". These websites are a great SEO Opportunity as they have very niche content and a long history as a "trusted" domain that provides contextual and sectorial links to the main web.

EC Center is very wary of looking for "external links" and avoids it completely. However, this is one case where an "app" web or a "firmware" web can be a very effective external "validator" of your main web. End-product users in reviews and forums frequently mention these "app" websites, so the SEO penetration of these "app" websites cannot be underestimated.
