This was one of the first B2B projects for EC Center in China, and as a brand new web in a B2B sector that is focused on components rather than end products, this SEO Project was challenging.
EC Center tried positioning the web in different B2B sectors, searching for a solid Google Footprint. After a period of 4 months, we finally consolidated the project in Google.
As a new project for EC Center, this was a big learning experience for us, and 3 years later, we now have more extensive experience in positioning many different types of supply chain component websites, so currently, we would expect to define a Google Footprint in 1-2 months for a new web rather than in 4 months. Remember, Google SEO is always changing, and we are always learning and adapting in EC Center.
The SEO Process in this project began with very few products, and those products were very specialized components suitable for supply chain procurement rather than for end users with low MOQs. Many initial SEO Contacts were very specialist requests with very low MOQs, but finally, more suitable SEO Contacts started to arrive.
